wanted an akira at first but my fren says akira CMI( cannot make it)... pic quality lousy, quality also lousy... not worth it.. though it's dirt cheap... furthermore i believe good stuffs does comes at a price... so might as well pay more for that assurance... right?

paintworks is about 75% completed after almost 4days (not continuous) of painting (mostly by d1)... d2 haiz...

Guess monkdees Manor is almost "operational" with these items hurray!

starting painting yesterday.. finished Kitchen Ceiling (2 coats), service balcony ceiling (2 coats) , common toilet celing (1 coat), MBR ceiling and walls (1 coat) and part of living/ dinning room. Did not get the colors we originally wanted, got something in a darker and livelier shade... Morning sun (yellow) and Lettuce green.

Hope these colors will not violate our Zen theme... hehe but anyway Zen colors are supposed to be "natural colors" aka those u can find in nature, lettuce and sun can easily find in nature right? so i guess ours i more of those "modern zen" or "daring zen" haha. Turns out to be not bad ...as long as dd like can liao hehe

"sneaked" out during lunch time to go Balestier to "reselect" the tiles... after that went to Edison lighting opposite to see see, at least tat was the initial idea lah... but then after walking a few rounds inside the small shop, we decided to get the lights from them... according to dd, they look simple and nice so we order lor.. 14pcs of lights + 1 fan. Total damage = $1200 + $166(installation). Ah one more thing done...
