Went to monkdees manor this morning to meet contractor Ah Soon... then found that there are a few installation instructions manuals lying outside the door, at first i tot "does this belong to the neighbours" next door? hmmm anyway went inside then wat a pleasant surprise... All our taps and flushers have been changed hehe... except those near attached to sinks (in kitchen and svc balcony) all are brand new... hehe sparking wahhhh... at least i saw some new stuffs... hehe

Then met contractor Ah soon, seems like a very nice uncle besides inspecting all those faults i recorded, he helped me go around spotting all those faults that i didn't point out like the locks at the risers windows blah blah blah... then he offered to change to nicer (and more reliable) doors for my bedrooms and toilets ... the design quite nice so i accept lor.. paid him $190 on the spot for all 5 doors cheap?? i think it's cheap lor... cos he charge only $30 for each bedroom doors and $50 for each bathroom door... actually i dun really like the design of the original bedroom doors COS MY PRESENT BEDROOM DOOR IS EXACTLY THE SAME... haha so sick of that patternless door so i jumped at the chance to change.. as for the bathroom one the design is quite nice lah looks more modern also and according to him, it's more durable and easier to open and close... so aiyah just change lor (i'm ok wif the master bedroom door but not wif the common bedroom one given a chance, change hehe)... anyway all these expenses add up even less then wat dd paid for her bro's Oakley specs hehe, in fact only 1/2... another thing i like abt contractor Ah soon is he is not pushy lor... he never tried to psycho me ..just explain to me wat's the difference... i feel the price is cheap lah cos i saw in brochure before, a simple plastic door for bathroom cost $200 already... 5 doors for $190... hohoho..

Oh he even quote us $1850 for new kitchen cabinets and another $150 to knock away the present one and patch back the "hole" in the floor... it's only 1/2 of wat homely image quote us...
oh he even offered to revanish the main door and clean up the mess (acid stains) we made at the balcony for us FOC... hehe

he said he will finish all the work in 2 weeks so when we come back frm china we shld see most of the work done liao hehe yeah!

Finally we are winning the battle with enemy dirt and dust, after occupying monkdees manor for so long, it's time to free monkdees manor of them...

After discussion wif dd, we decided to open an account wif SP service... haha
meaning die die we will have to pay at least $11.68 every month most likely will end up to about $20 at least lah...dd promised to split the cost wif me so not too bad.. else i think i will die, hehe ... The monthly $80.50 SCC charges already about to squeeze me dry liao... hope the utilities charges wun be too much... pray pray
